Happy Heart Day!!

I know it's a few weeks away but at least I didn't start saying it December 26th...the stores sure do!
Andy and I do celebrate Valentine's Day (I know it can be cheesy). This year we are joining some friends from church for dinner on the 14th - it just happened to be the date that worked for everyone! My friend Jenny had the idea of starting a "Supper Club" and taking turns every month or so. She is hosting the first one on Valentine's Day. More photos to come on how that goes.

That's it for tonight - I need to do better with photos, I know. Nothing photo-worthy these days except for the snow we had on Tuesday. It was beautiful. We don't get it much around here so it was fun.

Yes. There have been two more holidays, three birthdays and an anniversary since my last post! So, here it goes...Happy Birthday sis! Merry Christmas everyone! Happy New Year (and Happy Birthday to me...), Happy 39th Mom and Dad (what does 39 years feel like anyway??) and Happy Birthday to my favorite 9 year old nephew, Vince!
So, there's some catching up for you all!
My precious grandmother Norma passed away on January 8th as well. She had been declining in health for quite awhile and my mom was the most dedicated daughter I have ever seen over the last several years! The Lord blessed us with having my grandmother around for another Thanksgiving and Christmas in which she was able to come to my mom's house and share a meal with us! She also lived to see 2009 and I have a sweet birthday card signed by her just days before she passed - a treasure!
My mom's family has all come and left (except my Aunt Debbie who is here until Thursday) and we have had a blast together. There have been a lot of fun memories made. My mom came from a big family - 6 boys and 2 girls. They were all here as well 6 of us 20 cousins! And 4 great grandchildren! We played lots of zonk, mad gab and table tennis. I am proud to say my husband is undefeated by the Robinson crew at this time!
The last three years of my grandmother's life have been a gift as her kids came out once already to tell her goodbye - she lived another 3 and half years!!! I will miss you Grandmommy and will never forget the smile you gave me the day you passed!
