it's a good thing...

...I don't know your size yet. Or I would have spent way too much money today on little girl clothing! I think your Nana and Aunt Laura would have too. We looked (a lot) but we didn't buy. Oh but we will!

Even though I do feel like these first few months of the process have flown by, I am beginning to feel impatient. Perhaps all of my blog reading hasn't helped. There are so many families out there who have their babies home and have shared the sweetest, most heart-warming stories. It makes me so excited to know you and to have you.

We're at Myrtle Beach this week for our annual family trip and how it makes me hope you're with us next time. I can't imagine how much joy you will add to these kinds of things. Your nephews would love to play with you in the sand (so would momma!). Your Nana would love to "lotion you up" and your DanDan would love to take you for a walk on the beach. I won't get my hopes set too high that you'll join us next time but it's possible.

Here are a few pics of our beach week thus far. Won't you hurry up and get here???

  1. I know what you mean about wanting to buy clothes! The stuff for girls is just SO cute! Praying for that sweet girl right now....it's morning time now. I am praying that she just had a filling breakfast and is blessed with a playmate today!
