the A's

Yes, we are still on cloud nine! And are breathing a little easier now that we got "PA" today!

This part of the adoption process is waiting on the "A's". Just to explain it a little bit, here's what they are and what they mean (at least as best as I can figure):

PA (Pre-Approval): After submitting LOI, we received pre-approval from the CCAA to adopt a specific child. Typically, PA comes anywhere from 1 – 10 days after LOI is submitted. Ours took 3 days.

LOA (Letter of Acceptance): This is the official approval from China to adopt our "little bit". We've been told to expect that in 3-4 months. Ugh.

TA (Travel Approval): This is the go-ahead from the CCAA to travel to China to get our daughter. TA has 90 days before it expires. But we certainly won't be dragging this one out!

CA (Consulate Appointment): This is the date that we will go to our Consulate in China. We'll fill out paperwork to get her visa so she can enter the good 'ol US of A.

There are a few other things in there that need to happen but they don't have an "A" in them so that's not as interesting.

Please continue to pray for us as we wait but also and especially for our daughter. The sooner we can get to her, the better!
