China day 3 {Hong Kong from every angle}

We started the day with a major agenda, having not been able to do the things we planned the day before. But we fit it all in, had a wonderful day and were ready for bed early due to all the running around.

Sky 100 was our first item to tackle. This is the 4th tallest building in the world and offers quite a view of the city. You really get a feel from up there of just how massive this city is.

Next, we headed toward Victoria's Peak for another view of the city. You stand in a long, hot, humid "line" (anyone who's been to China will understand why that's in quotations!) and wait your turn to ride the cable car up the side of the mountain. It's a pretty neat experience and worth the wait, although we enjoyed the view from Sky 100 the best.

We grabbed lunch at the peak, then headed back to the hotel for a dip in the pool and a shower - I think we're averaging about 3 a day with the humidity. Then it was onto the harbor to ride the Aqua Luna around for about an hour. This neat ship took us in a circle within the harbor and was such a relaxing way to start the evening. I think this is when I started to get really sleepy...finally sitting after a long day and lots of walking. The rocking of the boat just about did me in! Definitely the highlight of the day.

And finally, we watched the laser light show on the water that happens every evening at 8:00 pm. It's set to music and really quite impressive. After that was a buffet dinner at the Intercontinental. I failed to take pictures of the food but it's probably better that way :)

I really want to edit these photos when I get home! We took ALOT, playing around with the camera. Just don't have much time to mess with it here. Oh, how I wish I knew what I was doing...it was such an amazing display of lights.
